Perfecting Designing prototypes

Timing: 35 to 280 hours

Level required : You must have completed the main Prototyping leather crafts at the Romy workshop. You must also have a self-made experience or some acquired in other workshops. This perfecting module is aiming also at professionnals wishing to develop their skills.

Training goal : To acquire sufficient knowledge to be able to use the various mounting techniques in prototyping in order to make prototypes for city hand bags and small leather accessories

Hands-on training : working on examples

• Making patterns out of drawings
• Duplicating an existing design without technical data.
• Making scale models
• Sampling and testing materials to implement
• Particular case study through making two or three bags (depending on training time available). Mounting prototypes, cutting, preparing, skiving leather.
