Required level : You must have completed the first beginners module « cutting/skiving/sewing/finishes at the Romy workshop or have acquired an experience in leather craft by your own experience or in other workshops.

Training goal : Further exploration of the process of design making and production of a leather craft item (city hand bag and small accessory)

Hands-on training : working on examples

• Pattern making
• Cutting leather : variety of leather – how to position your patterns and make optimum use of  your leather surface
• Manual skiving and machine skiving
• Sharpenning techniques
• Flatbed and cylinder arm sewing machine
• Bonding with glue : different glues and their use
• Mounting methods
• Setting accessories and finishes
