Program

1st day – Workshop overview

• Preparing
• Cutting
• Skiving
• Minimum tools
• Hands-on trial (clutch, pencil case)

 

2nd day, Preparing for the making of an accessory of your choice

• Drawing design
• Choosing raw material, which leather for which item
• Choosing metal fittings
• Choosing lining

3rd day – Putting into practice the acquired skills through the making of an accessory

4th day – Getting to know the sewing machines

• Safety
• Technical data
• Equipment, maintenance
• Sewing and hand stiching induction

5th day

• Finishing seams
• Personal evaluation on techniques shown during training, level/skills acquired
• Suppliers address book given to each trainee
• Each trainee leaves with his/hers production.
